We can assist with public and private transportation to help you travel independently on public and private transport. With our assistance, you will be able to accomplish the activities that are most important to you, such as visiting friends and family, shopping, working, and accessing health and educational services.
Nothing is too much trouble for us to help with, including unloading the car and unpacking the groceries inside the house. Use the NDIS's travel and transport services at your convenience.
Our competent and courteous support personnel can assist you in travelling to and from various areas using our vehicle, your vehicle, or public transportation.
If you choose to be transported using your own vehicle, then you need to verify or consider the following:
Your vehicle is safe, clean, and roadworthy.
Registered vehicle.
Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance.
Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance.
A visual inspection of your vehicle once per year.
Service and maintain the vehicle as per the maker's manual.
A first aid kit in your vehicle.
The support worker has the correct driving licence.
The support worker can operate your vehicle.
It's important to understand that our organisation's insurance does not cover your vehicle. So, it is vital to ensure you have the appropriate insurance coverage.
